Long before there was a company, the founder earned his livelihood through artisanal mining. Like many others, he spent long days working in and around the waters that sustained local communities. Those waters provided far more than a natural resource: food, livelihoods, and, for many families, the opportunity to build a better future.
Among local mining communities, it was common to believe that success in mining required sacrifices to the ancestors. The founder came to see things differently. Rather than attributing opportunity to ritual, he believed the greatest gift had always been the water itself. It quietly sustained generations of families, provided livelihoods, and created opportunities where few others existed.
He made himself a promise: if he were ever fortunate enough to build a successful business, he would name it after the very thing that had made that journey possible: the jungle water.
That promise became the foundation of Jungle Water Group.
Today, the name serves as a constant reminder of where the journey began and of the belief that business should remain connected to the communities that make it possible.
Our name is more than our identity. It is a reminder of our purpose.
