Portrait of Tomah Seh Floyd, Sr.

Tomah Seh Floyd, Sr. is the Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Jungle Water Group, Inc.

A native of Duo Gorton in Nimba County, Mr. Floyd's entrepreneurial journey began during a period of significant disruption in Liberia. The country's civil conflict interrupted his education and an academic path in engineering, leading him into artisanal mining and, later, cross-border trade.

Those early experiences shaped an approach to business grounded in practicality, resilience, and an understanding of the communities and markets in which he operates. From those beginnings, he gradually built and diversified what would become Jungle Water Group.

Over the years, the Group expanded into hospitality, energy, consumer products, telecommunications and mobile financial services, general merchandise and distribution, and petroleum. While the businesses are diverse, Mr. Floyd's approach has remained consistent: understand local needs, build trusted relationships, create opportunities, and invest for the long term.

His vision for Jungle Water Group is closely connected to his belief in “taking Liberia out of Monrovia.” For Mr. Floyd, this means building viable businesses and creating sustainable livelihoods in communities beyond the capital, beginning with his home county of Nimba.

That philosophy is reflected not only in the Group's commercial investments but also in its support for communities through scholarships, youth and sports initiatives, entrepreneurship, road rehabilitation, and other local initiatives.

Family & Legacy

Family and legacy have also played an important role in the development of Jungle Water Group.

Several of the Group's businesses reflect the people and places that have shaped Mr. Floyd's journey. Jackie's was named in honor of his wife, Jacqueline Floyd. Mother House preserves the memory of his mother and the family home, while businesses carrying the Floyd name reflect a desire to build institutions that can endure beyond their founder.

For Mr. Floyd, the long-term measure of success is therefore not simply the size of the Group, but whether the businesses it builds create opportunity, strengthen communities, and leave something meaningful for future generations.

Our vision is simple: to take Liberia out of Monrovia by creating opportunity where it is needed most.
