Jungle Energy Power
Powering Communities. Supporting Growth.
Jungle Energy Power (JEP) is a privately owned electricity distribution company serving households, businesses, communities, and institutions across Nimba and Bong counties.
The company's involvement in electricity distribution began after successfully bidding to operate the Nimba distribution network, with operations commencing in January 2008. From an initial customer base of approximately 800, JEP has grown to serve more than 30,000 customers today.
JEP operates under Large Micro Utility Distribution Licenses issued by the Liberia Electricity Regulatory Commission for its Nimba and Bong distribution areas.
The company purchases and distributes electricity through its network, helping expand access to power while supporting households, businesses, institutions, and economic activity within the communities it serves.
